Potter to the Pottery – Sunday 23rd June 2019

June 23 @ 9:45 am - 1:30 pm

This is a steady Social ride of around 30 miles.

Starting from – We meet outside Shrivenham primary school at 9.45 to call the register, make final checks before a prompt start at 10.00. There is some free parking but please come by bike if you can.

We will be going via Fernham, Sheelingford, Hatford and Buckland; returning via Bampton and Faringdon

A small variation on a route we’ve done before, out in to the Oxfordshire Countryside, virtually flat 30 Mile course going to a popular visitor attraction at Aston

Generally quiet roads suitable for all types of bikes but you’ll find it easier on a road bike or hybrid

We are stopping at Aston Pottery. They do a loyalty card scheme. If this is your first visit it probably won’t be your last.

As always Helmets are advisable. Please bring spare inner tube, tyre levers, puncture repair kit, pump (which fits you tubes) . Suggest mobile phone and cash or card for the stop. a lock if it is not hard to carry safely The leader uses a small “Cafe Lock” to use as a deterent.

We always welcome newbies to our group. we are a new group afterall!!! You should feel confident that you can ride 15 miles without a break at about 11-12 mph The stop will give time to refresh before we head home.

Please book onto this ride from
