About this ride

This is a free social ride.

It’s a lovely tour of some of the beautiful parks and greenspaces of West Swindon, including Lydiard Country Park and Peatmoor Lagoon. Away from busy roads you’ll be surprised how much greenspace exists right on your doorstep. We’ll be having a short stop at the cafe at Lydiard Park along the way.

This series of rides are specially designed as family-friendly rides on traffic-free cycle paths, with the occasional short section of quiet street. They are social rides aiming to help you discover more of your local area by bike in a friendly, supportive environment. Speed is discouraged and no one is ever left behind. Everyone is welcome no matter your age, ability or type of cycle.
