Fleming Way has reopened – where to locate your bus stop

The £33 million “bus boulevard” along Fleming Way opened on Sunday, August 31.

Fleming Way had been closed since September 2022 as work is carried out to create the public transport hub in the town centre.

The upgraded site features new bus shelters with extra space to allow for accessibility for those in wheelchairs, as well as wireless charging, solar panels and digital screens with real time information for departures.

More than 181 trees and 23,000 plants and bushes have been planted with the aim of providing town centre visitors by train, bus or bike an improved public realm.

The handy table below gives you your bus route number and which bus stop on Fleming Way you will need from 31 August 2025. There’s also a map of where to board here.
