SWIFT network

SWIFT was a free networking group for employers in Swindon working to improve the travel choices for their workforce. Employers came together at free workshops in the Spring and Autumn to share news and information about a range of sustainable transport information.

However, since the pandemic, we have found employers need less face to face support, but SWIFT continues digitally in the form of these web pages and the support of Swindon Travel Choices.

SWIFT works to save money, improve staff retention and improve employers’ environmental image.

Travel plan starter pack Access to a free travel plan starter pack, containing leaflets, posters and guides to display and offer free to your employees.
Developer guides A suite of developer guides containing advice and support through the process of developing a travel plan as part of a planning application. (Includes workplace, residential and mixed use sites)
Online travel plan training Free online travel plan training – 10 modules on travel plan themes. You will need to request a login for the site, but there is no charge to Swindon businesses.
Car share scheme Free use of the Carshareswindon (car sharing scheme) website, including access to free marketing and promotional items for employees.
