Bike Security Marking

Use our form to submit details of your bicycle so that it can be entered on the Bike Register national database. If your bike is stolen and the police recover it, the database will be used to reunite your bike with you.

Before you start this form you will need to have the following details to hand:

  • The bike’s make (this is usually in large writing on the frame eg Apollo / Raleigh / Carrera)
  • The bike’s model (this is usually somewhere in small writing eg Blaze / 27.5 / Crossfire / Hardrock)
  • The bike’s frame number (this is usually underneath the bike between the pedals and is a series of letters / numbers stamped onto the metal.  \you may need to clean the area to see them)
If you cannot find the frame number, or it is covered up, we can still register the bike.
  • The name, address and email of the person the bike should be registered to.

What happens now?

When you submit this form, we will assign a QR code to your bike, and send you 2 tamper proof stickers to place on the bike.
Please stick one out of sight (ie underneath) and one somewhere visible.

You will also receive an email from Bike Register to confirm you bike has been registered.  Keep this email safe as you can update the record if you move house or sell the bike.
