Starting from Cambria Bridge Playpark we’ll follow the route of the old Wilts and Berks canal through to Westcott Rec where we’ll then cross over to join the Old Town Railway Path. Leaving the Old Town Railway Path at Angel Ridge we’ll enjoy riding down Mill Lane and then looping back round to the start via Mannington Retail Park.

A short loop on some of the cycle paths of South Swindon incorporating the Old Town Railway Path and Mill Lane (now not a through-route for vehicles).

This route is mostly on paved traffic-free cycle paths, Mill Lane is access only to traffic so also very quiet.

No special clothing or bikes are required, all ladies and children are welcome. Helmets are compulsory for under 18’s and recommended for adults.

This is a ride especially designed to help those who haven’t cycled for a while develop confidence in a friendly and supportive environment. Electric bikers are very welcome to join too.
