About this ride

It is a flat route using mostly traffic-free cycle paths, with the occasional section of quiet road. It takes in some of the lovely green spaces and parks in the east Swindon area, including the former Wiltshire and Berkshire Canal route. There’s plenty of new parks and playgrounds to explore along the way to come back and visit again in the future.

This series of rides are specially designed as family-friendly rides on traffic-free cycle paths, with the occasional short section of quiet street. They are social rides aiming to help you discover more of your local area by bike in a friendly, supportive environment. Speed is discouraged and no one is ever left behind. Everyone is welcome no matter your age, ability or type of cycle
