About this ride

A rare chance to cycle to Letchlade from Shrivenham and Highworth on a guided ride. Normally the Letchlade road does not lend itself to guided rides but the closure of Halfpenny bridge has dramatically reduced the traffic on that road. The bridge is however open to Cyclists and Pedestrians and means we can do a pleasant loop and take in Buscott Weir

We will be on country roads and lanes; there will some hills at the beginning and end of the ride to climb, but we will take it easy and regroup when necessary. Sadly the road surface in places is not great but by keeping our eyes open and communicating well we will be OK.
