About this ride

It’s the time of year for thinking about Christmas Socials so with that in mind this is an opportunity to get together with other local riders and indulge in some Christmas cheer . This is one of a couple of Mince Pie Rides from Shrivenham; you will defo need the Mince pies when you get to our Cafe stop.

We will be on country lanes or residential roads the whole way. In a couple of places we take a bit of extra care as the roads can be narrow in places

Our Mince Pie stop will be The Time At The Forge in Aldborne where tea is served in china tea pots complete with tea cosies.

Helmets are recommended for all riders; please ensure you have a spare inner tube and any tools that may be required to remove your wheels. Many cafes only take card payments so suggest you bring some plastic or an app on your smart phone

New riders are welcome to join us but bear in mind this is a ride with some hilly bits. Most of our regular participants know the hills but you may want to look at our Flat as a Pancake ride next week if hills are not your thing.
