Together with the Ittihad Institute Swindon Cycle Campaign has organised these FREE women-only sessions to help adults and teenagers of all ages learn to cycle. The location is the County Ground Athletics Track, a wide, flat, traffic-free venue which is perfect for learning to cycle. Bikes and helmets will be available to use for free on the day.

Children and other female family members who are able to cycle independently are welcome to come along to the session to practice their skills whilst other family members learn to cycle. They do not need to be booked onto the session however please bring bikes and helmets for children as we have limited numbers of children’s bikes available.

The sessions are designed to be culturally-sensitive and will be led by female instructors only. Efforts have been made to ensure participants feel as comfortable as possible. Instructors are trained, with a wealth of experience in supporting both adults and children learn to cycle. Children’s football sessions will be taking place on the grass area on the centre of the track with both male and female instructors. Where possible male instructors will be positioned away from the cycle training area.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the organiser Becky Cox at swindoncyclecampaign@outlook.com or phone 07508038670 (please note this is a voluntary position so response may not be immediate).

Swindon Cycle Campaign also have funding for private 1:1 cycle sessions if you would prefer to choose this option. Please get in touch via the contact details above.
