About this ride

Out east towards Longcot dropping south by passing Woolstone and into Uffington, via Baulking, Goosey, Charney Bassett and Gainfield before dropping into Stanford for our refreshment stop. returning via Hatford, Shellingford and Longcot. The route is anti-clockwise as it makes most of our turns Left turns.

This is one of a couple of Mince Pie Rides from Shrivenham; you will probably need at least one Mince pie when you get to our Cafe stop.

We will be on country lanes or residential roads most of the way. In a couple of places we take a bit of extra care as the roads can be narrow in places and on a short section (250 metres) of the A417

We will be stopping at the Stanford Coffee Shop to enjoy hot beverages and mince pies

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some place’s only take card payments.

We never leave anyone behind
