About this ride

This is a free social ride. It’s a gentle social ride following cycle paths from St Marks Park out to West Swindon. Ideal for people new or returning to cycling.

All the ‘Potter on Pedals’ rides take the quietest and greenest routes around Swindon using the network of traffic-free cycle paths and the occasional short section of quiet road.

Under 16’s must wear helmets and we also recommend that adults wear them too. Bring along a drink and a snack if needed.

These rides are social rides and speed is discouraged, it’s all about exploring your local area in a friendly, supportive group. There is no need for lycra (just wear what’s most comfortable) and we welcome all types of cycles and riders.
