A mainly traffic-free route to Lydiard Park from Cambria Bridge play park. Following traffic-free cycle paths and the occasional quiet road. Stopping at Lydiard Park for a hot drink and refreshments. The ride loops out through Westlea and follows Shaw Ridge Linear Park to connect to Lydiard. On the way back we go down through Grange Park and join the cycle path alongside Great Western Way. The route is mainly flat, with one gradual hill up to Shaw Ridge, but we’ll wait for everyone at the top. It’s a socially-paced ride which is beginner and family-friendly.
