About this ride

This route takes you on a gentle tour of South Swindon using the recently improved Old Town Railway Path and cycle paths around Pipers Way and Wichelstowe. Much of the route is off road and therefore traffic free; the surfaces are a mixture of tarmacked cycle path and good gravel trails. It is suitable for children, either in child seats or those capable of pedalling six miles independently.
