About the route

The full route of the Eastern Flyer starts from Whalebridge (opposite Jurys Inn) and uses quiet streets out of the town to the Magic Roundabout, and then follows the former canal east to Greenbridge retail park, and onwards using the cycle path alongside Oxford Road.  Whilst the route officially ends at the White Hart roundabout, cyclists and pedestrians can continue on traffic-free paths over the bridge to Sainsbury’s, South Marston or Symmetry Park.

The route is on tarmacked paths and traffic-free, except for a short stretch of quiet roads around Broad Green.
