This was a winning walk in our Wichelstowe walking competition, submitted by canal volunteer Chris Barry. At 2.8 miles, this ramble takes in the canal and the old railway line, linking both heritage and nature. This route may be blocked around the East Wichel lakes as works to the canal take place. If this is the case, please use alternative route via Barbrook Road and East Wichel Way
