The South Swindon Round is a circular route of just under 6 miles (perfect for 10km runners!) around Old Town and Wichelstowe. It takes in the Old Town Railway Path as well as the growing area of West and East Wichel, where there are opportunities to stop and enjoy the canal and the refreshments on offer.
You can join the route at any part and travel its length in any direction. The route is a combination of traffic free concrete paths, quiet streets, and the gravelled surface of the railway path, which may be muddy in places after heavy rain.
