Day House Lane closed from 6th April 2021 to end of October 2021 – no access for pedestrians, cyclists or equestrians

Highways England are currently upgrading M4 junction 15 and the junction to the A419, and as part of these works it will be necessary to close Day House Lane beneath the bridge which carries the A419 above.  The closure is for all traffic, including pedestrians, cyclists, horseriders and vehicular traffic.

Alternative routes for those on bikes and on foot is via the Commonhead roundabout and through Liddington, or use Route 45 to Chisledon.  The latter route contains gravel surface through Coate water that may not be suitable for skinny tyre road bikes.
