Three new walking trails are being launched in Swindon this autumn.
- Butterfly Trail,
- Coate Water Fish Trail
- North Swindon Fox Trail
The Butterfly Trail follows a linear route along the Old Town Railway Path. The Coate Water Trail is a loop around Coate Water, while the Fox Trail offers a circuit in North Swindon, covering Haydon Wick and Abbey Meads.
All the trails are short and designed to highlight areas of nature, heritage, and art. Prizes and badges are up for grabs for those who complete each trail.
People can pick up the autumn trails leaflet at Swindon’s core libraries: Central, West, North, Highworth, and Park.
The leaflet will also be available at Old Town Library, the Haydon Centre, Haydon Wick Parish Office, and Coate Water cafe.
There’s also a trail leaflet as a PDF which can be downloaded from the Swindon Travel Choices website.
The trails will be available throughout the autumn months of October, November, and December.
