About the route

This route is a mixture of country lanes, woodland, and cross country fields.  There are a handful of stiles and kissing gates, and areas of thistles and nettles, so bare legs in summer are probably best avoided.  Take care on the country lanes, where there aren’t pavements and so you may have to stand on the verge to let cars to pass.
